OUR SPACES

Purpose-Designed Learning Environments

Every space at Little Rebels has been thoughtfully arranged to promote child development, safety, and a genuine love of learning. Here is a look at our key areas.

Infant Room:

Our infant room is a calm, softly lit environment designed specifically for our youngest learners. The room features DHS-approved cribs, age-appropriate sensory activity stations, individual cubbies for each child's belongings, and a comfortable space for feeding and bonding. Staff maintain continuous supervision, with visual checks on sleeping infants every 10 to 15 minutes. Safe sleep standards are upheld at all times.

Toddler and Preschool Classrooms:

Our bright, colorful classrooms are organized into dedicated learning centers — dramatic play, building blocks, art creation, early literacy, and hands-on science. Monthly themed curriculum activities are displayed in each room, and our program plan is posted visibly for parent review. Each classroom feels like an inviting, child-centered world of discovery.

Outdoor Play Area:

Our secure, enclosed outdoor space provides daily opportunities for gross motor development, fresh air, and the kind of unstructured play that is essential to healthy childhood development. We go outside every day that Minnesota weather allows — and when it does not, we bring the movement indoors. Dress your child for the season!

Dining and Common Areas:

Clean, well-maintained dining spaces where children enjoy USDA-approved meals together in a social, nurturing setting. Breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack are served daily. All areas undergo regular health and sanitation inspections as required by the Minnesota Department of Human Services.
